well, you havent been stung before have you? when they sting you it gives you enough energy to take off running heading for the house looking for meds... gee !!!
Reply:Because it is a natural Energy. If you eat a little pinch you can have tons of energy!!!
Reply:It doesn't really give you energy as far as I know. It does help with allergies if it came from near your home, as well as coats your throat, quite helpful if you sing. I don't really get the big deal about honey. More insects die from harvesting crops, driving down the road, just walking for that matter.

How can I remove pollen / dust particles that stick on to the paint from my car?

particles that stick? Your paint wasn't wet, right? You should be able to scrub them out with a sponge, obviously not going nuts and taking off clear coat too. Otherwise, try some bug and tar remover, then wash, or just go straight to a wash, rubbing compound and then a wax. That should do the trick unless it's actual paint imperfections and not just particulate.

Reply:I have always used a little ajax cleanser on my wet sponge. Just a little dusting on the sponge works great. If you wax your car the wax will be removed so after awhile you may have to re-wax your car.

I got flower pollen all over my favorite blouse on Saturday so I washed and it wouldn't come off!!!!?

I have done this several times. Try putting full strenth detergent on the pollen and let soak for a while and then wash. The only other thing I can think of is maybe hydrogen peroxide. I know this works on some tough stains Another thing to try is goop. It is in the automobile section of places like walmart and is really cheap. A lot of the times it will get grease and other stains out of clothers that have already been dried This is a tough one--good luck.

A pollen grain is a male gametophyte. It is a haploid structure and consists of 3 cells in flowering plants. Two of these cells are sperm cells and, following fertilization, these are carried by a pollen tube to the female gametophyte within the ovule of the flower (note that the process is a little different in non-flowering seed plants).





The pollen tube means that seed plants are no longer dependant on water for fertilization. In the 'lower' land plants (such as mosses) the sperm are flagellated and must swim to the female structures.
Reply:Pollen grain - a structure produced by plants, containing the male gamete to be used in reproduction. The gamete is covered by protective layers which perform there role until the pollen grain is capable of fertilising when reaching the female stigma.

Is a sore throat a symptom of pollen allergies along with a dry, sporadic cough?

My doctor gave me penicillin for a week to get rid of laryngitis because she said I also had spots on my tonsils. Now I don't have spots, but my throat is still sore and tight and I still have dry coughing spells that even wake me up at night. I'm taking an antihistimine. Could it really just be allergies causing continued sore throat and swollen tonsils?

It could be seasonal allergies if you do have them. Sometimes, though, a week isn't long enough to kill some infections such as tonsillitis, you need 10-14 days. I would just watch your throat and take it easy over the long weekend and see how you feel come Tuesday. If you do get a fever or the spots return, call the ER or an emergency clinic and be seen. Tonsils can abscess if they aren't treated in a timely manner.
Reply:White puss on your tonsils is bacteria. Try a TB test next.
Reply:Go back to your doctor, it could be a development of tonsilitis or worse, but check it out either way and dont drink from anyone glass dont let anyone drink out of yours and dont swallow any salivia and stay away from sugary foods
