Is a corn pollen allergy the same as a corn allergy?

I can't find a lot of info on it. Is it the same thing?

Is a corn pollen allergy the same as a corn allergy?
A corn pollen allergy is triggered off by inhaling air-borne particles. Where as a corn allergy is only triggered by ingesting it. It is very likely that someone who suffers the pollen allergy, they are OK to eat it. The pollen that creates the flower is a different chemical composition to that of the resulting fruit of the plant.
Reply:It's possible you may also be allergic to corn itself if you are allergic to corn pollen.
