What are the supposed benefits of bee pollen and do you get any of those with honey?

Do certain types of honey offer more of any such benefits?

Honey is very good for seasonal allergies. But it has to be local honey so that it contains the pollen from the things growing in your area or it may not work for you. Look for it at your local health food stores or small markets around your area.
Reply:I have used bee pollen for years. Honey is an antimicrobial and has many good properties... but pollen, propolis, and royal jelly are completely different. Here's a couple of links that I found that have a lot of helpful information on the different bee products.
