What field of science is devoted to the study of fossilized pollen?
The specialized field is paleobotany, the study of extinct plants.
Reply:Paleobotany could be correct. Phytolith analysis is a little more specialized though.
Reply:Like the study of any fossil, it would be a paleontologist.
