What is the best way to clear a fish pond of cloudiness caused by pollen?
Try the pond section of this website:

Reply:Cover the pond when the pollen is blowing. Skim the top of the water with a net-just like you'd clean a pool.
Reply:get a better filter for it i have one and that really worked
Reply:I put baking soda in my pool for cloudiness...but I would ask a knowledgeable person at a pet store before doing that...never used it in a fish pond before...works great in the pool though.
Reply:use a net
Reply:If you go to a big nursery or hardware store/nursery that sells pond supplies, you can find a bottle of water clarifier. I have a small pond with turtles in it, and I add clarifier once a month. Within a few days the water is clear again. (I also have a filter that traps particles and clean that with a hose every month). Pollen is very light and will float on the water for a while. You could try skimming it off the surface with a very fine mesh net.
