Is hay fever the same as a pollen alergy ?
not quite you can be allegric to different things mine is freshly cut grass
Reply:Hay fever is the common name for seasonal allergic rhinitis, which is the fancy way of saying hay fever :o)
Seasonal allergy is caused by wind-blown pollens. Generally seasonal allergy starts in the spring with trees, goes into the summer with grasses, and then ends the season with weeds (ragweed the most notable).
No matter what you call it, it can make you miserable. There are things you can do, such as stay inside and keep doors and windows closed, stay indoors on windy days and early in the morning and late evening, this is when pollen counts are the highest. If you must go outside, as soon as you come in take a shower, wash your hair, and change your clothes so you don't spread the pollen in your house. Keep pets inside also, as they bring pollen in on their fur. It helps to keep your HEPA filter running all the time. I will give you a link to a place you can get pollen forecasts, a link to an article that helps you tell the difference between cold and allergy, and a link to the air cleaner I use to keep the air in my house clean. Hang in there, seasonal allergy doesn't last forever!
Reply:For treatment purpose yes it is the same and you treat it the same. Again eat healthy and drink allot of processed water and take vit. C %26amp; E they work together. Good luck
Reply:They are similar symptoms. I expect similar medicines as well.
