Does anyone know if the pollen count has been high lately?

i think my hayfever is acting up again because my eyes are very itchy %26amp; sore and that only happens when the pollen count his high. i'm in cambridgeshire.

Does anyone know if the pollen count has been high lately?
Achoo, its probably achooo the worst achoooo time of year right now. Try opticron (eye drops), clarytin (anti hist tablet).
Reply:I think it has been....seen your GP %26amp; get your meds.

They get bonus's for handing out hayfever meds...so they'll be happy too! :D
Reply:It said on GMTV this morning the pollen count is extremely high in the south, and medium in scotland, and anything is the middle is medium-high

My eyes are also driving me up the wall !!!!!!!
Reply:well if your eyes are itching then it must be higher..i suffer with the eyes nose and throat...my throat is constantly itching which must be the worst because you cant scratch it gggrrrrr i use vasaline under my eyes and around my nose when im indoors...if working or out doors i put a little just inside my nose...it stops pollen bits getting in
Reply:Well, as we had quite decent weather in Cambridgeshire over the weekend I'd say the pollen count was high.

From your symptoms, you've answered your own question

:-)
Reply:Sorry can't help with the question because there isn't enough information, but I have heard those who suffer from pollen related allergies should try consuming locally made honey to aid the body in building antibodies against those pollens. I have no allergies to speak of so I cannot confirm the effectiveness.
Reply:Must be. My hayfever was the worst yesterday than I've had so far this year. I was caught unprepared and suffered all day!

Not fun is it.

You can check the pollen count out on:

Reply:The pollen has been high but my son who suffers from Hayfever we found a remedy that works. Find a beekeeper in your local area that makes honey and take a spoonful every monring 365 days per year and you hayfever should stop. It worked for my son no more swollen runny eayes, blocked nose, itchy skin etc. It must be local honey made in the area that u live
Reply:it depends on where you live, so we can't tell because we don't know where cambridgeshire is, state, country?
