i know during pollen season that everything turns yellow for several weeks. i'm trying to plan a wedding in '08. thanks.
When is pollen season the worst in raleigh, nc?
Well there are multiple pollen types and seasons.
If you're simply trying to avoid the yellow dusting that occurs from pine pollen then April is certainly the month to avoid the most.
If you're worried about allergies, that's different....pine pollen is visible mostly because the grains are so large...so large that few people are allergic to them (they don't fit in your allergy receptors in your nose). The pollen that makes people sneeze the most is early spring (March-April) and fall (October-November for ragweed, etc.)
